Director of Software Development - (POSITION FILLED)

The continued expansion of the software development department is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced software development manager with a strong Java and object-oriented database development background to join a top notch experienced team. You will have an experienced development team of 4-6 professionals and will continue to use the most current state-of-the-art development tools available.

The company is a 10-year-old technology firm located between San Francisco and the Northern California wine country. They are using the Internet and other state of the art technology (Java, GemStone and ParcPlace VisualWave) to provide low cost distribution and financial settlement services to the largest industry in the world, the travel industry.

They have received substantial venture capital financing from several well-known groups and are currently projecting an initial public offering in 1998. They have an excellent compensation package, including stock options waiting for a quality individual.
